Our history
The family was born as distillers, obtaining their first patent in 1790 issued by the Republic of Venice in Bassano del Grappa, today's Italy. Permission that earned them to develop as perfumers, importers and exporters of raw materials and producers of extracts for the manufacture of cosmetics.
Around 1900, after the Italian reunification, due to the great political and economic instability of the new country, they decided to move their company to America, settling in Argentina in 1905. They carried out their activity in this country until 2005, when the company decided to return to Europe to settle definitively and permanently in the city of Barcelona, being its headquarters until today.
Despite the social, economic and political ups and downs, Seven generations have worked professionally and uninterrupted until today. Providing technique, invention and development to each of its products. Achieving unparalleled quality in the extraction of active plant ingredients and in the formulation of 100% natural cosmetics and perfumes. Today Barcelona is the house where this heritage continues and from where our techniques and methods jealously guarded generation after generation are perfected every day.
Today, Pablo Emmanuel Locascio Poletto. 7th generation, he receives training, philosophy and trade from his maternal grandfather, Ermenegildo Celino Poletto.
In 2005, he moved the company back to Europe, this time to Spain moved by circumstances similar to those experienced in 1905 by his predecessor in the Reunified Italy. In 2008, it incorporated a new business modality, opening the sale of high-quality raw materials and extracts, until then only accessible to companies and laboratories, to final consumers and small artisans of perfumery and natural cosmetics.
In 2017 he decides to expand and strengthen the business by forming a partnership with dorian gabriel bella, whose family business was focused on the agricultural production of raw materials and genetic laboratories specialized in the reproduction of high-performance cattle and horses.
